For decades, many hatcheries mistakenly grouped Brown Africans and Brown Chinese together because their color patterns are so similar. However, they are completely separate breeds, each with its own characteristics.

A simple way to spot the difference:

• Toulouse Goslings: Have a “U” shape at the top of the bill.

• African & Chinese Goslings: Have an arched bill shape.

Brown Chinese Geese are excellent for small farms and homesteads, offering exceptional alertness, good egg production, and strong natural grazing behavior.
